COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

UPDATE 8/30/22

While client and therapist safety is still top priority and the majority of these guidelines are still in practice, a few things have been relaxed:

  • Masks are now optional and at the discretion of the client.

  • If you are within 5 (or so) minutes early for your scheduled appointment, you can head on in to the office without checking in from the parking lot.  Anything earlier than that, please send me a text before proceeding just to make sure I am ready for you.  Thanks!

*******************

Please know that your health and safety (as well as my own and that of my family) is very important to me. Though there is a certain level of risk of exposure anywhere we go, the following procedures have been put in place in an effort to minimize the risk as much as possible.

  • Sessions are by appointment only with a minimum of 30 minutes between clients (this has been standard practice at my office even before Covid)

  • Please text/call from the parking lot & wait outside until it's clear to proceed. This will allow for the office to be properly sanitized and ensure that there is no crossover between clients.

  • Face masks are to be worn by both the client and therapist through the duration of the appointment. The client may choose to remove their mask while laying prone (face down) and instead use a pillowcase hanging from the headrest (as approved by the DPH. Pictured below.)

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office.

  • The office is diligently cleaned daily and between each client using a hospital grade disinfectant.

  • PLEASE CANCEL if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been around anyone else who has. (Same applies for non-Covid symptoms.  If you are under the weather in any way, please contact me ahead of time so we can reschedule when you're feeling well again.)

  • PLEASE NOTE: It has been recommended that it is best to wait 2-3 days after receiving a Covid-19 vaccination before scheduling a massage. This will allow your body to process the vaccine without any interruption.
